The reality of the extraordinary change that is about to rock our world is slowly dawning on us all. It seems that each day a new major development shows up in the theatre space.
Last week we finished all the interior drywall and completed a major portion of the solid walnut concession bar in the lobby. We also finally removed the entire scaffolding that filled the lower level of the theatre. The mezzanine infrastructure is completely done. It has the feel of a performance space again.

River North Brewery Opens in LoDo
River North Brewery recently began brewing operations in Denver, and is now open to the public, with the official grand opening set for February 18 and 19. The building includes a 900 square foot elevated tasting room which overlooks 4,000 square feet of brewery, including a 15 barrel operation with a bottling line and walk-in coolers. The brewing area was designed to allow for future expansion with minimal revision to the space.

It feels a little like a mounting storm as a myriad of elements come together impelling us toward our completion at the end of February. We are working hard to make sure all is ready for the first projects of the new theatre space.

The Elaine Wolf Theatre Construction Update – Week of January 23, 2012
We have not taken time to offer our gratitude to our amazing construction company, Foothills Commercial Builders, and the hundreds of subcontractors who continue to toil away in shift after double shift in our dark and unheated construction zone as we race toward completion. Thanks for all you do for us.
Last week we finished most of the drywall installation and set in the large electrical panels and new dimmers to handle the theatrical lighting. We also began work on our sound system installation and began the acoustical ceiling tiles and completed the tile in the lobby bathrooms.
