The Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (CFDH) is a nonprofit, charitable organization devoted to making oral health care accessible to needy individuals who are disabled, elderly or medically compromised. The CFDH provides this access to care through three direct service programs:

• Donated Dental Services (DDS) has more than 700 volunteers across the state
  who donate care in their own offices. Dentist volunteers determine the most
  appropriate treatment plans for their DDS patients and lab and specialist services
  are also donated.
  
  
• Dental HouseCalls is a mobile dentistry program that brings dental care to
  people in nursing homes, low income senior housing, and homebound individuals.
  
  
• Bridge Outreach provides preventative education and training to caregivers of
  people who are developmentally disabled, enabling them to improve their
  overall oral hygiene.
  
  

CFDH’s programs are funded through a combination of individual donations, grants from private foundations, and state contracts.
